3.2 Trial with Upfront Fee
Some trials require a small upfront fee (e.g., $1-$2 for verification). This fee is:
- Refundable if you cancel before the trial ends
- Non-refundable if you continue past the trial
4. Non-Refundable Situations

4.1 Renewal Payments
Subscription renewals (monthly or quarterly) are not eligible for refunds. To avoid renewal charges:

- No partial refunds for unused time after cancellation
4.2 Exceptions and Special Cases
Service Interruptions: If the Service is unavailable for extended periods due to our fault:
- Short outages (under 24 hours): No refund, but we may extend your subscription
- Major outages (over 48 hours): Pro-rated refund or subscription extension at our discretion
4.3 Account Termination
If we terminate your account for violating our Terms of Service:
- No refund will be issued
- You remain responsible for all charges incurred before termination

- Funds appear in your account within 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)

6. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank without contacting us first, your account will be immediately suspended pending resolution.
6.1 Why Chargebacks Harm Both Parties
- Chargebacks incur fees ($15-$25) that we must pay
- Repeated chargebacks can result in us losing our payment processor
- It is slower than requesting a refund directly (chargebacks take 30-90 days)
6.2 If You Filed a Chargeback
If you have already filed a chargeback:
- Email us immediately at support@cvlevel.com
- We can provide documentation to your bank to expedite resolution
- If the chargeback was due to a billing error, we will work with you to resolve it
6.3 Fraudulent Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback after receiving the service without contacting us may be considered fraud. We reserve the right to:
- Contest the chargeback with evidence of service delivery
- Permanently ban your account
- Pursue legal action in cases of repeated fraudulent chargebacks
7. Cancellation vs. Refund
It is important to understand the difference:

Refund
- • Returns your payment

Tip: If you are unsure about continuing, consider canceling instead of requesting a refund. You will keep access until your paid period ends, and you will not be charged again.
8. Free Tier - No Refunds
Our free tier does not require payment. Since there is no charge, there are no refunds applicable to free accounts.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be communicated via email.
Purchases made before a policy change are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
